Oxford Fire Safety, through its specialist training division The Fire Safety Academy, is launching a new generation of fire safety courses at the end of January 2026, delivered entirely through distance learning and underpinned by modern digital education methods.
Designed for fire safety professionals, dutyholders, inspectors, and those seeking formal progression within the sector, the new courses move beyond traditional online learning. They combine structured self-study, tutor-led input, scenario-based learning, and integrated assessment using advanced digital platforms, including AI-supported learning tools.

All open access courses are face-to-face (F2F) and in person.
Virtual courses are distance learning at your home or work in your own time and are not taught via video link.
All costs are subject to VAT @ 20%
The Fire Safety Academy
The Fire Safety Academy is accredited by Skills For Justice Awards to deliver fire safety qualifications and has provided this training to Fire and Rescue Services up and down the UK since 2022.
Our courses are based on, and refer to, the guidance, legal powers and statutes of England and Wales but the principles used are universal. All instructors and assessors/verifiers are experienced fire and safety practitioners, qualified to a high level.
We run face to face, in-person open access courses, and distance learning courses throughout the year in Fire Safety. Our L3 Certificate, L4 Certificate and L4 Diploma are for you. These course offer a great value and are delivered at our partner venue or via our interactive website.
We also run specialist training in other aspects such as court preparation, prohibition work and Fire Risk Assessment in groups that can be conducted at you venue. See our Courses Page for more details
Difficulty in attended in person can be restrictive so we also offer an online version of our courses, purely distance learning with no in-person classes, for those who live or work away from the UK or work difficult hours and cannot attend.
